Biography of Dourone
Fabio Lopez Gonzalo, alias Dourone, is a philanthropic artisan, an eclectic artist whose work is immediately recognisable, with a style all his own. His works are often dreamlike, a mix of symbols and representations of our humanity. It is hard to label his style; he himself refuses to do so. When asked the question, he always simply replies that he doesn’t know how to define his style other than through the values he wishes to convey: Liberty, Respect, and Diversity. Since 2012, Fabio’s talent has been enhanced by the presence of Élodie Arshak, alias Elodieloll. More than a simple partner in life and work, Élodie is part of Dourone’s creative and artistic equation. Their synergy has allowed them to live out and professionalise their vital need to criss-cross the globe in quest of even more experience, more life, more encounters, more humanity.
“ESENTIAL”
ESENCIAL refers to many new decisions and intentions. First of all, it’s a portrait of Elodie, the most essential person in my life. It’s a direct presentation, a way of talking about my personal and universal life. It is also a nod to the true passion of Elodie, which are the essences, the smells; make good smells to create a good moment. Secondly, it refers to my work, a process of getting rid of everything that is not important and simplifying everything up to leaving what I am personally, looking for the essentials and working without requirements.
